Why I Write by George Orwell (5/52)

Orwell would struggle with the times as they were. In this series of essays, Orwell takes exception to the flippant use of terms like Fascism, democracy and patriotism. He explores the need for democratic Socialism and the downward spiral of our use of the English language. He takes exception to the braggarts and the blowhards and he forces our eyes on the humanity of our judicial decisions. An excellent collection a master at his craft. If you’re going to write something, write it for a purpose and write it well or don’t.
