Origin by Dan Brown

I am not ashamed to admit I like Dan Brown’s style of storytelling. He captures a big idea and twists it together with a ridiculous mystery-thriller. From the first hint of the mystery and the call to Robert Langdon, I was hooked. It’s cheesy, not particularly brilliant writing, and yet Brown can spin a yarn and make you think about a bigger idea. In this case, the beginning of the world and how the evidence would be stymied by the religious institutions who hold power. Recommend if you need an easy read that makes you consider the big question of our Origin.
