One Brother Shy by Terry Fallis (24/52)

Writing compelling, funny and thoughtful fiction is not easy. Doing it consistently over multiple books without a misstep is even harder. Terry Fallis delivers a brilliant novel, yet again. Telling the story of Alex McCaskill, a 25 year-old, shy software programmer who just lost his single mother and finds out he has an identical twin he has never known about. The search for identity, acceptance (self & social) and purpose gives the novel heart while maintaining Fallis’ trademark wit and humor. I am never disappointed by Terry Fallis and encourage everyone to read his writing. He is a Canadian gem. Strongly recommended!
