Normal People by Sally Rooney

The friendship that lasts forever changes the most. Rooney explores the ideas of friendship, love, and change in this fascinating novel that dances between perspectives. From pretending not to know each other to being lovers, Connell and Marianne must live with and without each other through the formative years of their lives. Rooney’s choice to change narrators but tell a collected story are fascinating. Some odd sexual moments in the book, though the damage is perceived. Good read.
