Deer Life: A Fairy Tale by Ron Sexsmith (15/52)

The ideas of family, unwavering hope, and our ability to connect without words are all explored in this sweet, well-written fairy tale by a great Canadian songwriter. I was expecting a lyrical novella and instead, Sexsmith delivers whimsical prose that is rooted in weaving a good tale rather than the fluidity of its telling. This was short and sweet but a delight to read. Very nice!
